Tuchel's plea to England fans after Ghana frustration

Thomas Tuchel has urged fans to remain positive following England's disappointing and frustrating 0-0 draw with Ghana.
The point moved England to four in total, still top of World Cup Group L and virtually assured of progression to the Round of 32. Finishing as group winners is still the most likely outcome with Panama their final match to come.
But after the uplifting performance in an opening 4-2 win over Croatia, England struggled to break down a dogged, determined and well-organised Ghana side, who sat in one of the lowest blocks you will see on a football pitch.
The Three Lions toiled in the Boston rain, lacking the creativity, speed, or sharpness of movement or thought to break through a stubborn, well-drilled defence.
For many, it felt a step back, to the dull England of previous tournaments who have always found it tough against tactics like this. It saw England's second game curse rise again - they've only ever won their opening two World Cup matches three times in their history.
But Tuchel, experienced the English fans and media from his time at Chelsea, is aware of a backlash and has appealed for calm and positivity.
"It is a long tournament and games like this can happen. It can be difficult to watch and not exciting," Tuchel said post-match.
"We always try to entertain our fans, but it was difficult today and I hope they don't lose belief, because there is a long way to go."
