Spain have averaged 7.8 corners across their five games at the World Cup, and the least they've had in any game is six (vs. Uruguay and Saudi Arabia).
In fact, they've had five or more corners in each of their last 13 games, dating back to their World Cup qualifying 6-0 win over Turkey on 7 September, 2025.
Belgium, meanwhile, have averaged only 4.6 in their five World Cup games, and in a game where Luis de la Fuente's side are likely to be on the front foot, Spain are heavy favourites to lead the corners market.
Yamal has only eight shots on target in his last five games, but when accounting for the reduced minutes he played while getting back to fitness, he's averaging 2.28 per 90 minutes.
He's just warming up, too, with six of his shots on target coming in just his last two appearances.

La Roja may not have hit top gear yet, and the Belgians pulled off impressive wins over Senegal and the US, but the difference in quality between the two sides is vast.
Spain will set out to do as they always do and dominate possession, dictate the tempo, and thus give Belgium fewer opportunities to cause damage than they've enjoyed in their recent wins.
With 12 goals in their last three games, Rudi Garcia's side may still fancy their chances of at least putting one past Unai Simón, but Spain's defence is no joke.
They haven't conceded a single goal in the tournament so far and, perhaps just as impressively, have allowed only 29 shots on goal and five shots on target, the fewest of any team in the quarter-finals.
Odds correct as of July 9, 2026. Recommended bets are advised for over-18s.
