WWE WrestleMania 40 Night 1: The Rock, Roman Reigns go to extreme lengths to ensure Bloodline Rules

The Rock did whatever it took to ensure Bloodline Rules between his cousin Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes for Reigns' Undisputed WWE Universal Championship would be installed for Night 2 of WrestleMania 40.
And his tactics worked as he and Reigns battered Rhodes and Seth Rollins toward victory in the main event of WrestleMania 40's Night 1, live from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Saturday night.
The Final Boss used Night 1 to show the world the extreme lengths he was willing to resort to for his family as he saved Reigns from being pinned by a Cross Rhodes by yanking the referee out of the ring.
When he wasn't doing that, The Rock was disrespecting Rhodes' mother ringside, repeatedly telling her to watch the punishment her son was being subjected to.
Though Rhodes was able to exact revenge by driving The Rock through a table with the Rock Bottom, while Reigns speared Rollins through the barricade, The Final Boss would make sure to have the last laugh.
When Rhodes managed to hit Reigns with two more Cross Rhodes, The Rock not only lashed The American Nightmare across the back with his belt but gave Reigns the opening to drop Rhodes with a spear.
A tag in and The Rock planted Rhodes with a Rock Bottom before instructing "Mama Rhodes — this one is for you" and nailing him with The People's Elbow for the pinfall.
The victory makes Sunday night's clash between Reigns and Rhodes set to Bloodline Rules, which means anything goes and likely that The American Nightmare will have to jump through more obstacles to "finish the story."
Meanwhile, Rollins' knee was left compromised for his own World Heavyweight Championship defense against Drew McIntyre — also set for Night 2.
