Najee Harris to NY: A look into the Giants' offense for 2026

The New York Giants announced they signed RB Najee Harris on a one-year deal.
The Pro Bowler comes in after spending one 'inactive' season with the Chargers after tearing his Achilles tendon in Week 3.
Harris spent Monday morning working out for the Giants and taking a tour of the facilities.
Jim Harbaugh mentioned after Monday's practice that "he's not a 100% back yet; he's not in football shape."
How Harris blends with Skattebo
The RB room at the Giants is stacked, and with Harris's arrival, the competition for RB2 and RB3 will be very close.
Cam Skattebo, however, should not be too worried about his No. 1 spot, although he is returning from an ankle injury; Harris coming in should add reassurance to the already-backed-up roster.
This will be a great opportunity for Harris to take on a mentoring role with Skattebo, who missed a big part of his rookie year, and guide him through recovering from a season-ending injury.
Signing Harris could be a signing that will pay off well later in the season for the Giants.

It's been a busy offseason for the Giants front office with the number of signings they have announced in the past few months.
Harris joins JuJu Smith-Schuster and Odell Beckham Jr. among many others, for what has the potential to be a great offense for New York.
Harbaugh is confident they will be able to work with him and help him through his injury recovery.
"If we are able to do something, it'll be a process. That would be a guy that has a lot of experience. He's a decorated vet."
Through 71 regular-season games, Harris totalled 4,373 rushing yards and 34 total TDs, having 1000+ yards in every full season he has played in.
The Giants offense will be one to watch as the regular season approaches.
