QB Ty Simpson raves about Rams' talent: 'We have the best team'

Los Angeles Rams first-round quarterback Ty Simpson still hasn't got a car or a house in his new home state, but he's not letting it distract him from the job at hand.
Although he's still Ubering his way around Los Angeles, his priority remains football.
Simpson relishing Stafford and Adams link-up
Simpson joins an offense led by 2025 MVP quarterback Matthew Stafford and the elite wideout duo of Puka Nacua and Davante Adams.
The opportunity to learn from the Rams' star trio isn't lost on Simpson.
"I think it’s really, really cool to, one, be in the room with Matthew, who has done it at a high level for so long, and then see it from a wide receiver standpoint with Davante and Puka," he told Sports Illustrated's Gilberto Manzano.
"And Davante especially, because of him being similar to Matthew, but I think both of those guys are two guys who are one of the greatest at their positions.
"The fact that I can watch both of them at the same time on my team, it’s a big advantage for me," he added.
Simpson drafted 13th overall by the Rams
After their 31-27 NFC Championship loss to the eventual Super Bowl-winning Seahawks, the Rams made Alabama product Simpson the headliner of their draft class with the 13th overall selection.
Max Klare followed in the second round, and with Trent McDuffie, Kam Curl and Jaylen Watson already joining in the offseason, LA are poised nicely for another postseason run.
"Not only do I fully believe that we have the best team, but I fully believe that we have the best people as well," he told Manzano.
He knows he'll be warming the bench and learning from Stafford in year one, but his objective is clear.
"It's my job to be the best player I can be, the best Ty I can be, and go out there and prove them right."
