Derek Bilton has been writing about the noble art since 2002, contributing to some of the biggest UK digital media outlets in that time. After gaining a Post-Graduate Diploma in Print Journalism from Leeds University, he began his journalism career covering boxing for Sportinglife.com between 2002 and 2007, and also worked as lead boxing writer for the digital arm of UK broadcaster ITV Sport. In recent years he has continued to work as a freelance boxing writer, penning profiles, features, betting previews and interviews for a number of different brands and outlets.
