Anthony Joshua is seeking a fight with Tyson Fury after returning to winning ways against Jermaine Franklin.
Joshua made a successful comeback against the tough Amercian, but he was made to work hard for his victory as Franklin refused to wilt in a contest that still has people asking questions regarding Joshua.
With many expecting an explosive performance form the former world champion, Joshua approached Franklin with caution and boxed his way to a comfortable points decision.
In the fight’s immediate aftermath, the focus switched to what’s next for Joshua and the Watford man made it clear that Fury is his top target.
"One hundred per cent Tyson Fury, that's the pot of gold,” said Joshua when speaking with Sky Sports. “That's the WBC heavyweight champion of the world. That's what it's about. Definitely Tyson Fury,"
"Sometimes opportunity presents itself and you have to grab it with both hands. If the opportunity presented itself and coach and the team were like: 'Yeah it's a good opportunity.' I would take the opportunity and grab it with both hands. One hundred per cent. The boxing world needs it."
