Those have been the million-dollar questions surrounding a proposed all-British mega showdown between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury.

The Daily Mail reported on Tuesday that Joshua-Fury was signed, sealed and delivered for a date of November 20 at Madison Square Garden in New York. Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Boxing told IFL.TV the report was false. DAZN News can report from sources around the fight that Hearn's statement is accurate, with Joshua having a signed contract for the bout to occur in the United Kingdom and nothing agreed upon to compete in the US. On Wednesday, another Matchroom executive confirmed Hearn and our report.
"Factually incorrect," Matchroom CEO Frank Smith told DAZN after the Dalton Smith-Alberto Puello introductory news conference.
Is a resolution coming, or will things be stuck in neutral?
"Every day things can reach an outcome. Can't they?" Smith said. "Means people got to come together and align on things. So, I'm saying things won't get agreed. But again, we're sitting in our position saying we agreed to do X, Y, Z.
"We're happy to do that. If you wanna change it, this is what it will take."
