DAZN News rounds up the biggest boxing stories on Tuesday, July 6.
Dmitry Bivol has been given 20 days to agree terms with Callum Smith over the defence of his WBO light heavyweight crown.
The former, unified champion in the division, has been linked to several other names since making his return earlier this year.
Smith meanwhile has been suggested for a rematch with Joshua Buatsi, though would undoubtedly prefer to take on Bivol.
Should the latter be unable to agree to a deal though, the Briton could well be elevated to the full title if the holder is stripped.
Teremoana Teremoana will bid to further his heavyweight career against DeAndre Savage next month on the Gold Coast in Australia.
The rising star has become something of a knockout sensation, and will be chasing another highlight reel turn in a milestone show.
Teremoana most recently cleaned out Bowie Tupou in April within one round, to move to an 11-0 professional record in the ring thus far.
Savage will hope to offer a sterner test of his abilities, but will nevertheless enter as a heavy underdog on the Queensland-based card.
Joe Joyce has been snubbed for Peter Kadiru after Murat Gassiev settled on the later for his WBA heavyweight title fight this weekend.
Originally due to face Tony Yoka, the latter had been left to scramble for a possible opponent after the Frenchman was forced to withdraw.
Briton Joyce, already due to fight on the undercard, had been one name thrust into the possible conversation, in a remarkable turn of fate.
But instead, Kadiru will be the one offered a chance to dethrone Gassiev and put himself among the leading contenders in the division.
