Canelo reflects on legacy

Canelo Alvarez believes he "accomplished everything" across his career, and admits he continues to fight in order to build his legacy.

The star will bid to regain a portion of his super-middleweight crown when he tackles Christian M'billi in a rearranged October bout.

But speaking with CBS Sports, the superstar acknowledges he is content with his path, stating "I pretty much accomplished everything.

"Every time, I break records. My motivation [is] legacy. I'm fighting because I love boxing. I'm fighting to represent my country of Mexico."

Bradley backs Mason over Zepeda

Abdullah Mason would beat William Zepeda in a lightweight unification bout, with Tim Bradley throwing his support behind the former.

The WBO champion could entertain a bout with the newly minted WBC holder, who took the strap versus Lamont Roach Jr. on Saturday.

But speaking on Inside the Ring, former two-weight champion Bradley thinks one man holds the advantage if they were to meet next.

“When you give Mason the opportunity to punch in between, that kid can punch," he stated. He doesn’t mind punching with you."

Taylor weighs Garcia-Benn

Josh Taylor believes Ryan Garcia should be unconcerned by Conor Benn ahead of his WBC welterweight defence next month in Las Vegas.

The American will face the Briton in a Sin City blockbuster, just under a year on from the latter's rematch victory over Chris Eubank Jr..

But Taylor is unenthused about the contest, telling Boxing News: "It doesn’t excite me at all, really. I think that Ryan probably knocks him out.

"Ryan is the better boxer. He is quicker, sharper, has got more experience in the game. I don’t think that Ryan has got anything to worry about."
