DAZN News rounds up the biggest boxing stories on Monday, July 13.
Jack Catterall has revealed that he will face the winner of Rolly Romero and Teofimo Lopez's WBA welterweight bout.
The Briton earned the governing body's junior strap in May and had hoped to mount a full challenge for the belt next.
Instead, he will be left to wait for Romero to defend his strap against Lopez - but told The Ring he will be next in line.
"They’ve got up until November 19," he said. "There can't be a unification. If it gets to November 19, the belt is mine."
Bob Arum believes Manny Pacquiao has the advantage over Floyd Mayweather Jr. in the pair's planned rematch.
The two pound-for-pound stars were expected to meet this September, though their bout is currently postponed.
But Arum told The Ring he favours the Filipino for revenge, adding: “It's the great unknown, considering their ages
"I would favor Pacquiao, because he's been more active It appears he’s in better boxing shape than Mayweather."
Shakur Stevenson has picked out Devin Haney and Gervonta Davis as his targets after kicking off life with Zuffa.
The American favourite is seeking to begin a new reign - and told ESPN that he already has two rivals in his sights
“Hopefully my next fight is with Devin Haney since Conor Benn isn’t here or, hopefully, it’s Gervonta Davis," he said.
"I haven’t been calling his name lately, but now is the time to fight, so let’s do it.”
