Eubank Jr. eyes Nigeria return

Chris Eubank Jr. is edging closer to a long-awaited December return in Nigeria, according to Balmoral Promotions boss Ezekiel Adamu.

The Briton has not fought since last November's defeat to Conor Benn in a hotly anticipated rematch at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

But Adamu believes Eubank Jr. can help take Nigerian boxing to a new level, telling the Press Association: "Chris is as big as it comes.

"We've had big superstars. We're looking at him coming here for a fight in December. We're still in negotiations, but that's coming along nicely."

Wach mulls Fury-Joshua bout

Mariusz Wach believes that Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua's impending heavyweight bout is too close to call after he was stopped by the former.

The Polish veteran shared the ring with 'The Gypsy King' last month across seven rounds, and previously sparred the London 2012 star too.

Now, Wach has weighed in on where he sees the duo's encounter heading - and he acknowledges he faces a struggle to split either man.

"I was a sparring partner of Joshua," he told Pro Boxing Fans. "I think that it will be a very interesting fight. I think that it could be a 50/50."

Muratalla snubs Cruz rematch

Raymond Muratalla does not wish to entertain a rematch with Andy Cruz, insisting he beat his rival "clean and comfortably" in their title bout.

The IBF lightweight champion won a majority decision in Las Vegas earlier this year, but has no desire to run the tape back despite the scorecards.

“I don’t think it deserves a rematch,” he told The Ring. “I beat him fair, beat him clean and comfortably. I’m looking forward to bigger fights.

"[I am] definitely moving on from that. I definitely didn’t see it a draw at all. I was super confident I was winning the whole fight. I was surprised."
