Fury vows Joshua KO finish
Tyson Fury believes he will "100 per cent" knock out Anthony Joshua in the pair's long-awaited bout, describing his opponent as "finished".
The pair are expected to confirm details of their heavyweight mega-clash sooner rather than later amid plenty of back-and-forth discussions.
But irrespective of when and where the fight is held, Fury remains confident that he will hand a stinging KO loss to 'AJ' when they finally meet.
“100 per cent," he told iFLTV on how he plans to perform against his long-time rival this year. "Joshua’s chinnier than a m—r. He’s finished.”
Foster scorns Garner opportunity
O'Shaquie Foster will not face Ryan Garner in a WBC super-featherweight defence, claiming the Briton previously passed twice on a bout.
The latter earned the interim strap with a bruising win over Michael Magnesi earlier this month, capping a blockbuster Southampton homecoming.
But Foster, who is eyeing Shakur Stevenson as his next foe, insists he will not face the junior belt holder, citing failed previous discussions.
"We tried to make the fight happen, twice," he was quoted by Boxing Scene. "I'm sorry to his fans, the UK fans. I tried to give him an opportunity."
Ennis critical of Zayas victory
Jaron Ennis was less than impressed with his victory over Xander Zayas, grading his performance as mid-level despite a convincing win.
'Boots' earned two-weight champion status as he took the unified light-middleweight crown from his rival in a Saturday night barnstormer.
But Ennis did not feel that he showcased the strongest skills he had in the clash, and was quoted by The Ring: “I've got to go back and watch it.
“I would probably give myself like a C, though. I know I’m way better than that. Like a C+. I’m way better than that."
