DAZN News rounds up the biggest boxing stories on Tuesday, August 11.
Murat Gassiev has unveiled a hit list of potential opponents as he seeks the latest defence of his WBA heavyweight crown later this year.
The star handed a comprehensive stoppage loss to Peter Kadiru last month, underlining his position as a serious glamour-division player.
Now, Gassiev has nominated a slate of four options as he seeks to further build his profile, with Boxing Scene laying out his probable foes.
WBC holder Agit Kabayel, American star Jarrell Miller, double Olympic champion Bakhodir Jalolov and cult hero Derek Chisora are in the mix.
Canelo Alvarez will get the better of Christian M'billi, with Tim Bradley backing the Mexican to regain his WBC super-middleweight strap.
The pair will meet this October in the former's first bout since his undisputed defeat to Terence Crawford almost a year ago in Las Vegas.
But Bradley believes the star will look back to his best when he takes on the champion, and expects him to securing a triumphant return.
"I like M'billi," he told FightHype. "It’s going to be a hell of a fight. But Canelo [is] going to catch and shoot all night long. It’s going to be bad."
Artur Subkhankulov is closing in on a potential IBF lightweight title opportunity against Raymond Muratalla, but is unimpressed by the star.
The former is currently the top-ranked challenger to the latter's crown, and is angling for a blockbuster opportunity before the end of 2026.
Muratalla could yet vacate, but Subkhankulov will pursue his chance either way, telling The Ring: "[It] doesn't make much difference to me."
"I didn't particularly like the fight between Muratalla and [last opponent Robson] Conceicao. It was more like sparring, without any intrigue."
