DAZN News rounds up the biggest boxing stories on Monday, July 27.
Anthony Joshua's come-from-behind victory left Eddie Hearn admitting he feared his star's career was over against Kristian Prenga.
The Briton recovered from two early knockdowns to force a brutal second-round stoppage in Jeddah, saving his promoter's blushes.
"During the first round, I thought it was all over," Hearn told The Ring. "I don't know how he got through that first round, honestly.
"At one point, everything could've been over. That's the reality of what could’ve happened if he didn't keep getting up. The career is over."
Tyson Fury should face Murat Gassiev if his bout with Joshua falls through, with Kostya Tszyu keen to see the pair cross paths down the line.
Fury overcame Mariusz Wach in Thailand this weekend, while Gassiev rubber-stamped his WBA credentials last month against Peter Kadiru.
Now, Hall of Fame star Tszyu believes the two could make for a blockbuster bout should Fury not get the chance to cross paths with Joshua.
"I would love to watch Gassiev versus Fury," he was quoted by Boxing Scene. "In that fight, Murat would just do everything he needs to do."
Tim Tszyu has revealed that he sought Errol Spence Jr.'s advice on how to improve after defeating the American this weekend.
The Australian scored a lopsided decision in Sydney against the returning star, who announced his retirement in the ring afterwards.
After a tetchy build-up, both men had plenty of love for the other in the aftermath - and Tszyu has now lifted the lid on Spence's tips.
"He said stay patient," he said. "[He said] you're very dangerous and when you wait, you're a very good counterpuncher with fast hands."
