No Whyte rematch for Joshua comeback

Anthony Joshua's mid-2026 return appears to be gathering pace, but a rematch with Dillian Whyte appears unlikely.

A host of names have been floated for 'AJ' and his comeback bout, with a second dance against his old rival mooted.

But Matchroom supremo Frank Smith has poured cold water on the suggestion that the pair might square off again.

"Not really. I mean, I don't believe so," he told Boxing Scene. “Anything can happen in boxing, but I don't believe so."

Miller pledges old 'Big Baby' ways

Jarrell Miller will have more than his hairpiece to worry about in his heavyweight bout against Lenier Poro this week.

But 'Big Baby' has vowed to return to his old ways in style, pledging a beatdown at Thursday's press conference.

Miller famously lost his toupee during a bout with Kinglsey Ibeh, but has bounced back from his viral infamy since.

"I'm going to run him over," he promised. "I'm going back to the old Big Baby this fight. Seventy punches per round."

Visioli eyes Moton clash

Sparks flew earlier this year when Giorgio Visioli and Curmel Moton were caught on camera agreeing to a bout.

The pair previously sparred, before the former's promoter Eddie Hearn suggested he could outclass the latter.

Visioli isn't playing for keeps however, and would be open to a bout with the fellow rising star as soon as this year.

"I think the Moton fight needs to happen early," he told The Ring on a fight. "It’s not something we need to wait around for."
