DAZN News rounds up the biggest boxing stories on Thursday, March 19.
After months of speculation, Top Rank has a new broadcast partner in DAZN.
Officially announced on Wednesday, the American promotion giants have signed a multi-year deal with DAZN, further cementing its place as the Global Home of Boxing.
Not only will this partnership involve live shows, but DAZN subscribers will also have access to Top Rank's 60-year archive, which features the likes of Muhammad Ali, Marvin Hagler and Manny Pacquiao.
Details of Top Rank's first show with DAZN will be revealed soon.
Zuffa Boxing has found a UK broadcaster in Sky Sports.
Until now, Dana White's boxing venture has been broadcasting their shows in the UK on YouTube.
Zuffa's next show is scheduled for Sunday, April 5, when Andres Corta and Eridson Garcia meet in a lightweight contest.
WBC junior middleweight champion Sebastian Fundora has big plans for 2026.
First, he fights veteran Keith Thurman on March 28, and after that, Fundora wants to be the chief support on a September fight card headlined by Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez.
If Fundora gets his wish, he wants it to be against the interim champion Vergil Ortiz Jr. in what would be a huge all-American clash at 154lbs.
“It would be great to fight on the Canelo card,” Fundora told The Ring.
“I'll be ready to fight again in September after the Thurman fight. There are all kinds of big opportunities for me to be in big fights. It can be against whoever, since there are all kinds of names. I'm going to fight these guys. I'm chopping down whoever steps up.
"I'm building a legacy. I'll fight Vergil. I'm eventually going to get my hands on the Ring title, just like my sister Gabriela.”
