Bruce Carrington locked down the WBC featherweight title in style as he delivered a showreel stoppage against Carlos Castro to claim the crown at The Ring 6.
The star was a dark horse to steal the show at Madison Square Garden and did not let his fans down as he upgraded his interim belt with showmanship and flair.
Carrington pushed Castro to his tempo during the first half of the contest, before unleashing several critical blows before a ninth-round knockout sealed the deal.
Now, in a crowded division full of challengers, the star will bid to defend his title heading into the rest of 2026, with the chance to challenge for unification honours too.
