Cameron voices judging fears against unlucky Mayer in showdown

Chantelle Cameron has acknowledged fears that Mikaela Mayer may earn favourable treatment from judges when they meet.
The pair will contest a light-middleweight unification bout across three titles at the bp pulse Arena in Birmingham this August.
It marks a British return for American Mayer, who previously lost split-decisions to Alycia Baumgardner and Natasha Jonas.
That has Cameron harbouring concerns that any close contest might be swayed in favour of her rival if push comes to shove.

"I just hope they don’t job me,” Cameron told The Ring. “I know that Mayer has been very unlucky in the UK, boxing twice here.
“Who knows what people are thinking. Maybe they are thinking she can’t lose another close one. So that’s when I hear ‘third time lucky'.
"I just hope that if this is a close fight, nobody is feeling sorry for Mayer. Let’s just have a fair fight. No being biased, no favoritism.
"Let’s just have a good, fair fight. I’m sure Mayer would feel the same way. I just want a clear win, I don’t want anyone talking about a robbery afterwards.”
