We seem to have a 50-50 fight on our hands with Johnson vs. Thorslund tonight. I think Johnson’s incessant fighting flow gives her the slightest edge to retain her undisputed crown, though Thorslund can alter that projection with shrewd counterpunching and power. During certain rounds, I like Thorslund to do just that, making this a heated bout. However, Johnson has shown a tendency to keep grinding forward with high volume — even when she’s cleanly hit. I’m going with ‘Sugar Neekz’ by split decision.
