Claressa Shields predicts an Amanda Serrano victory over Katie Taylor

Everyone in the boxing world is giving their two cents on what will happen when Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano step into the ring on Saturday night, live worldwide on DAZN, for the biggest fight in women's boxing history.

But one woman's opinion certainly stands out from the rest, as WBA, WBC and IBF women's middleweight champion Claressa Shields gave her prediction for the fight, which will take place at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

"I have Amanda Serrano by split decision to win this fight," Shields said on Friday's live edition of the DAZN Boxing Show, reiterating a stance she made earlier in the week.

"Even though Katie to me is a dog, she's skilled. She's been around the block in the amateurs and the pros.

"I think that Amanda Serrano is ... I've seen her improve, you know, and just her strength to be that small to be able to fight."

The self-proclaimed GWOAT noted Serrano's last encounter, against Miriam Gutiérrez, proved that 'The Real Deal' could square off against anyone and come out on top.

"The last girl she fought against was a 160-pounder, let's just keep it real," Shields said. "She rehydrated to 160 and [Serrano] stood there toe-to-toe with her so she can take shots and give shots.

"And I just think that if they sit there and trade — because sometimes Katie gets a little wild because she wants to stand there and brawl to show you that you know she's a fighter because she is — who is going to be able to take out what they're dishing out, and I think Amanda Serrano can dish out a lot more than Katie but I think that Katie has the skill to evade those shots.

"So that's why I still think Amanda Serrano will edge it."
