Smith not looking past Puello despite 'bigger and better fights'

Dalton Smith insists his focus remains solely on Alberto Puello despite the prospect of "bigger and better fights" in the pipeline.
The Sheffield man defends his WBC light-welterweight title against the former champion this October at the city's Utilita Arena.
Having dethroned Subriel Matias in New York City this past January, Smith has seen his stock soar on the international scene.
That could pave the way to unification against WBO champion Shakur Stevenson - but the star is not getting ahead of himself.

"There's some big fights to be made, but all my focus is on Alberto Puello in October," he told The Ring when asked on matters.
"Then we [will] look to move on to the bigger and better fights. I think it's one of the most stacked divisions. He's a great fighter.
"I'm not overlooking him. I've seen him fight. He's been on my radar before I was a world champion, so we know him pretty well."
Smith was originally due to face Puello in June, but was forced to postpone the contest after he suffered a training injury in April.
