Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions isn't going anywhere.
It was announced on Tuesday that Golden Boy will remain with the global home of boxing, DAZN, as both sides have agreed to an exclusive, multi-year deal to continue delivering championship-level boxing and developing the next generation of talent.
Building on a partnership established in 2018, this extension brings the collaboration to nearly a decade, and features a medley of PPVs, world championship Events and a contender series with a loaded roster featuring WBC welterweight champion Ryan Garcia, unified cruiserweight champion Gilberto 'Zurdo' Ramirez, undisputed women's flyweight champion Gabriela Fundora, unified minimumweight champion Oscar Collazo, and top lightweight contender Floyd Schofield.
With three events in the books during the first quarter of 2026, the momentum continues into the second quarter of 2026 on Saturday, May 2, with a blockbuster Cinco de Mayo event live from Las Vegas featuring David Benavidez vs. Zurdo Ramirez, live and globally on DAZN PPV.
“We’re firing on all cylinders right now,” Chairman and CEO of Golden Boy Oscar De La Hoya said in a statement.
“No one builds champions like we do. It’s a special formula mixed with a fighter’s talent, discipline and star power. As we approach a decade with DAZN, we’re going to keep setting the tone for the sport in 2026 and shaping the future of boxing.”
"We’re delighted to extend our partnership with Golden Boy,” Pete Oliver, CEO Global Sports, DAZN, also said in a statement.
“Oscar and the team consistently deliver world‑class events and develop some of the most exciting talent in boxing. This renewed agreement strengthens our shared commitment to growing the sport globally and giving fans unmatched access to unforgettable fight nights. We’re excited for what comes next."
DAZN's Ultimate Tier subscription package includes a minimum of 12 PPV's a year, on top of the regular 185 fight nights offering. That means you would not need to purchase PPVs individually at an extra cost.
U.S. customers can sign up for Ultimate Tier now for $44.99 per month. UK customers can subscribe for 24.99 per month.
Based on buying 12 PPV's per year, having an Ultimate Tier subscription instead can save £320 / $535 a year**.
**Savings calculated by comparing 12 months of DAZN Monthly Flex plus 12 pay-per-view events per year against 12 months of DAZN Ultimate at launch price.
