'It's a bit dumb!' - Bentley blasts WBO over Alimkhanuly call

Denzel Bentley has revealed the WBO do not plan to strip Janibek Alimkhanuly of his middleweight title despite suspension.
The Briton defeated Endry Saavedra inside seven rounds back in April to earn the governing body's interim strap in London.
But any chance to be elevated to the full title has been foiled despite Alimkhanuly serving a ban for an adverse VADA finding.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Bentley has revealed he is in line to face the star when he returns, but admits he remains frustrated.

"We spoke to the WBO and they they have no intentions of stripping him," he revealed when asked about the status of the belt.
"When his ban is up, they've asked him to fight me on his first fight back. But I just think it's a bit dumb, to be honest.
"You put the whole division on hold because someone's broken the law and he's not really not being correctly punished for it.
"So now, every other middleweight in the world has to wait until he serves his ban. We're all being punished with him basically."
