Judges inside London's Olympia venue scored it 96-94, 100-90 and 100-90 all in favor of Scotney, who became the first undisputed 122-pound world champ in the United Kingdom's boxing history and the youngest UK fighter, at 28, to reach undisputed glory.
What made the victory all the more sweeter was Scotney collected on a bet with Jake Paul, who said he'd get the British fighter a car of her choice if she won Sunday night.
"Hey, Jake, where's the G-Wagon at?" Scotney said live on the ESPN app, making her decision for the Mercedes-Benz vehicle clear.
Scotney must get her driver's license first. She was anything but in the driver's seat during the early moments of Paul's MVPW's first main event when Flores greeted her with a breakneck pace due to nonstop pressure.
Scotney gathered intel in real time and began adjusting rapidly, shortening her punches and dipping into a deep bag of shot selection, picking off the incoming Mexican with pointed blows and movement out of harm's way.
The British fighter made sure to serve Flores with a buffet of uppercuts to slashing crosses and looping blows, landing the diverse palette of punches cleanly and flush toward the biggest victory and achievement of her career.
