Sturm ready for Stein finale as star brings curtain down

Felix Sturm will bring the curtain down on a glittering career when he faces Granit Stein this weekend at Stuttgart's Porsche-Arena, live on DAZN.
The former two-weight world champion will face his domestic rival in a capstone encounter as he calls time on his life in the ring.
A WBA, WBO and IBF middleweight champion and WBA super-middleweight champion, Sturm has been a home favourite since emerging.
His return to Stuttgart, the scene of his greatest triumphs, will also allow him to make for a fitting farewell, with the star plotting a big finale.

"On the one hand, I’m naturally sad but on the other, I can look back on an extraordinary career and I'm very grateful for that," he told The Ring.
"For me, July 11 is the perfect day for my boxing farewell as we're going to have a fantastic event. Lots of people have said they’ll be there.
"Many prominent guests will be in attendance, as well as numerous people who've supported me along the way and of course, my family.
"The arena will be sold out. In terms of timing, everything just fits perfectly for me and I’m really looking forward to the evening."
