On Thursday night, Osleys Iglesias and Pavel Silyagin met for the vacant IBF super middleweight title after the belt was vacated by Terence Crawford.Â
Both men were undefeated going into the contest at the Montreal Casino, but it was one-way traffic with Igelsias dominating.Â
Iglesias rocked his Silyagin in the first round, causing swelling around the latter's left eye.
As the contest progressed, more punishment was being inflicted on Silyagin, with blood freely flowing from his nose.Â
In the end, Silyagin was unable to get off his stool at the start of round nine, making Iglesias the winner and a world champion at super middleweight.Â
