Pacheco on top in California
Having passed on bouts with Christian M'billi and Hamzah Sheeraz, Diego Pacheco had a point to prove over the weekend.
Fortunately for the star, he did just that, scoring a late stoppage against Immanuwel Aleem at Dignity Health Sports Park.
With his super-middleweight credentials reaffirmed, Pacheco will depart California now eyeing a title bid in the near-future.
Eubank edged by Papot
For Harlem Eubank however, the star's hopes of a run at the IBF welterweight title took a major blow in defeat to David Papot.
The marginal outsider for the pair's contest in London, the Briton nevertheless talked up his fight as the chance to earn his shot.

Instead, he was dropped multiple times and came up short in an often entertaining contest, icing hopes of facing Liam Paro for now.
Atang on top in America
Several divisions higher up the pecking order, Leo Atang made quick work of Glen Williams to secure a fine stateside debut.
The York heavyweight is fast emerging as a talent to watch, with backers Matchroom delighted at his prospects thus far in the ring.
Atang's success - a second-round knockout to join his growing highlight reel - marks his fifth bout in just seven months this year.
Usyk mulls Fury trilogy
Oleksandr Usyk's plans for a last dance continue to shape up, with the star suggesting he wants a stadium bout in New York.

But fascinatingly, despite Deontay Wilder seemingly being in the box seat, the Ukrainian is not ruling out a trilogy with Fury too.
Given the latter seems locked up through the end of the year, it appears unlikely. But stranger things have happened in boxing.
Garcia-Benn finally confirmed
Ryan Garcia and Conor Benn's WBC welterweight clash is finally on, with the pair headed to the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Their September 12 clash - live on DAZN in the United Kingdom - promises to be a flagship bout for Zuffa and their roster so far.
