Shields remains superb

Having conquered all frontiers at heavyweight, the American dropped back down the divisions in search of more glory on Saturday.

She earned it too against veteran Australian fighter Scott, sweeping her aside to pick up the WBA and WBC middleweight crowns.

Her next move? Lauren Price has long been tipped as the likely next opponent, but there are plenty of other leading picks in the mix.

Haney courting options

Ever since Keyshawn Davis bailed on his mandatory challenge, it has been a tough hunt for Devin Haney and his next title moves.

The current WBO champion was reportedly chasing both IBF star Liam Paro and WBA (Regular) man Jack Catterall at one point.

Talk online seems to suggest that it will be the former who ends up in the ring with him. Either way, the American has his options.

Adeleye into free agency

David Adeleye has long been a heavyweight mainstay among the Queensberry ranks - but now, the Briton is branching his way out.

The star confirmed he had entered free agency earlier this month, teeing up what could be a fascinating few months for his career.

Teremoana top dog again

Down under in Australia, fast-rising heavyweight star Teremoana Teremoana added another name to his increasingly busy resume.

Teremoana is angling for a spot on the Tyson Fury-Anthony Joshua undercard next - and chances are, he may get his wish too.

Riley-Nyika in the pipeline

Viddal Riley looks set to get his crack at a world title, at last, with the star slated to face David Nyika for the IBF cruiserweight belt.

Promoter Kalle Sauerland has confirmed that the pair are on-course to meet for Jai Opetaia's former strap in the very near future.

Success for Riley would add him to a growing list of British world champions among the upper weight divisions of the sport right now.
