Miller reportedly in frame for WBA title shot against Gassiev

Jarrell Miller appears to be in the frame for a shot at Murat Gassiev's WBA heavyweight championship, per Eddie Hearn.
The American dispatched Lenier Peró over a dozen rounds in Las Vegas this past April for his second victory of 2026.
That had appeared to push 'Big Baby' back towards the title conversation - and now he could be set to secure his crack.
Matchroom supremo Eddie Hearn made the revelation that Gassiev could face an order following a win over Peter Kadiru.

"Gassiev is the champion," he told iFL TV. "He’s got to fight Jarrell Miller, our guy, which we’re negotiating at the moment.”
A title opportunity for Miller would add a further wrinkle to a busy heavyweight division duly splintered by Oleksandr Usyk.
The Ukrainian's decision to scatter his belts saw Gassiev and Agit Kabayel reap their WBA and WBC rewards respectively.
Moses Itauma and Filip Hrgovic will meanwhile meet for the IBF strap later this month after Frank Sanchez stepped aside.
