Kiko Martinez vs. Josh Warrington 2: List of odds, favourites, markets, prediction and betting trends

For Josh Warrington, it could be last chance saloon for his professional boxing career when he takes on Spain's Kiko Martinez for the IBF world featherweight title in Leeds.

Following a loss and draw with Mauricio Lara last year, it seemed like another world title opportunity was not on Warrington's radar.

However, Warrington was a name which Martinez was calling out after his shock knockout win against Kid Galahad to claim the IBF belt and now a chance to become a two-time world champion has presented itself to The Leeds Warrior.

If Warrington wins, a huge unification clash with Leigh Wood this Summer or that elusive trip to America awaits, lose and it could be time for the 31-year-old to hang up the gloves for good.

Saturday night has the potential to be another memorable event live on DAZN and there are plenty of bets to be made so let's take a look.

Martinez vs. Warrington 2 odds

(Odds courtesy of Betfred; available for betting in the United Kingdom and Ireland only)

  • Kiko Martinez: 3/1
  • Josh Warrington: 2/7
  • Draw: 20/1

Betfred (as of Mar. 24) has Warrington installed as the favourite to win outright at 2/7. That means you would need to bet £70 to win £20 on the result, as well as receiving the £70 stake back. Martinez meanwhile is 3/1 to win outright which means that you would need to bet £10 to win £30 on the result in addition to receiving your £10 stake back.

Martinez boasts a professional 43-10-2 record with 30 of those wins coming by way of knockouts, while Warrington is 30-1-1 with seven knockouts.

Martinez vs. Warrington 2 prediction

This isn't the first time these two have met. Martinez and Warrington went head-to-head in 2017 in a fight which many fans try to forget. Warrington triumphed with a majority decision, but it was a fight which many thought The Leeds Warrior would win with a knockout or stoppage.

Now, the pair meet once again, but unlike last time where Martinez seemed to be on the way out, he has been revitalised following the win over Galahad.

Some doubts have crept in as to whether Warrington has anything left, but with the backing of his passionate Leeds fanbase, Warrington will always have a chance.

If he is to beat Kiko, Warrington will have to avoid the wars he is often known for and box. Martinez showed against Galahad he is someone who will not stop walking forward and still possesses that one punch knockout power, therefore keeping the IBF champion at range is key.

Astbury's pick: Warrington to win in on points (4/5 on Betfred - UK/Ire customers only)
