Tyson Fury will return to the ring for his second bout of 2026 this week as he hosts a low-key tune-up encounter in Thailand.
'The Gypsy King' is seeking another win on the road to Anthony Joshua - and thinks he will find it with veteran Mariusz Wach.
The Polish heavyweight star has been around the block more than a few times now, headed towards the twilight of his career.
But Fury will be far from his first assignment against a British fighter too, having shared the ring with his fair share of names.

How has he fared thus far against them though? DAZN News takes a look back through history to trace the star's tough run.
Dillian Whyte (December 2019)
Wach first fought against a British foe when he met 'The Bodysnatcher' in Diriyah on the Anthony Joshua-Andy Ruiz Jr. II bill.
At that point the WBO's top-ranked heavyweight contender, Whyte arrived as the favourite to prevail - and ultimately did so.
But that doesn't tell the full story of a bout in which Wach more than played his part, growing with some useful combinations.
Whyte ultimately took the victory by unanimous decision, but it proved to be a closer affair than the star would have wanted.
Hughie Fury (December 2020)
One year later, Wach was back out against another British opponent - and a familiar name too, in the shape of Tyson's cousin.
'The Fist of Fury' was an ex-WBO title challenger, having lost three years prior to Joseph Parker, and was eyeing a big win.
Again, Wach found purchase. He badly cut his opponent in the early exchanges at London's The O2 Arena to take some hope.
Yet he could never really draw Fury into a tangle after that, and the latter took another wide decision victory to hand him defeat.
Frazer Clarke (June 2023)
Back in London again, Wach had snapped a three-fight losing run with victory over Jakub Sosinski before he faced 'Big Fraze'.
But as with Fury, it would prove to be a similar story, with the Pole unable to take much off his younger, shrewder opponent.
A wide points victory for Clarke - just seven bouts into his pro career - inflicted a tenth career loss upon Wach's own record.
At that point, it seemed as if the Polish star could be done with British foes - but his hardest night was yet to come for the star.
Moses Itauma (July 2024)
Just over a year after leaving York Hall, Wach was back at The O2 Arena as the latest test for rising star Moses inside the ring.
It was not to be a long visit. The Pole had gone all the way with Whyte, Fury and Clarke - but managed just two rounds here.
Having already assembled an impressive highlight reel, the Briton's brutal success further underlined his rapid rise to the top.
For Wach though, another defeat means that this weekend's test against Fury could leave him a rotten 5-0 record for his troubles.
