Most Valuable Promotions launches new women's boxing initiative

Three events were made official. The inaugural event, MVPW-01, will be on Sunday, April 5, from London as WBC lightweight champion Caroline Dubois (12-0-1, 5 KOs) battles WBO titlist Terri Harper (16-2-2, 6 KOs) in a 10-round unification clash. 

Then on Friday, April 17, at MVPW-02 at the Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City, unified junior lightweight champion Alycia Baumgardner (17-1, 7 KOs) returns to defend her titles against South Korea's Bo Mi Re Shin (19-3-3, 10 KOs). In the co-feature, possible Claressa Shields opponent, unified super middleweight champion Shadasia Green puts her belts on the line against Lani Daniels (11-4-2, 1 KO).

MVPW-03 will occur on Saturday, May 30, in El Paso, Texas, with a rematch for the WBA lightweight title as Stephanie Han (12-0, 3 KOs) locks horns with the legendary Holly Holm (34-3-3, 9 KOs). Han won the first fight back in January by a unanimous technical decision as the fight got stopped because an accidental headbutt caused by Han.
