Ex-Nakatani foe Hernandez expects 'hard fight' for Inoue

Sebastian Hernandez expects a coin-flip decision between Naoya Inoue and Junto Nakatani when the pair meet in Tokyo this weekend.
The Japanese duo meet in a blockbuster undisputed super-bantamweight title encounter, with both of their unbeaten records on the line.
Inoue, the reigning champion, is seeking to underline his premier pound-for-pound status, while Nakatani hopes to curtail his reign.
Hernandez, who fought the latter upon his move to the division last December, has experience with both men after sparring the former.

That gives him the expectation that 'The Monster' faces a long night at the office, even if he is unable to split the pair apart yet too.
"I see a hard fight for Inoue," he told The Ring. "Nakatani is a good, strong, technical fighter. He's a great champion, just as Inoue is.
"Inoue needs to use more technique and his footwork. I'm not a technical fighter who moved. I was looking for the fight against Nakatani.
"I think it will go to a decision. Either guy can win. I punched Nakatani a lot, and he was able to take it. I wish them all the best."

If there's one man who might feel he has the measure of Junto Nakatani, then Sebastian Hernandez could lay a reasonable claim.
'Big Bang' might have got the wide decision on his super-bantamweight debut in December, but that did not tell the whole story.
Hernandez proved a durable opponent who was able to punish his foe during the latter stages of their contest with impressive skill.
Yet if he believes Nakatani has the goods to topple Naoya Inoue in Tokyo, then that is one heck of a vote of confidence for the star.
