PBC is coming to DAZN in new landmark agreement

DAZN is already the global home of boxing. Now, they have added one more powerhouse promotion that nearly brings the sport under the roof of one broadcaster.
The streaming service has announced a landmark partnership with Premier Boxing Champions that will bring PBC’s marquee fight nights to fans around the world on DAZN.
The partnership begins on Saturday, July 25, with the return of former three-belt welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr. taking on Australian superstar and former super welterweight champion Tim Tszyu in Australia.
That will continue with another blockbuster event when WBA welterweight champion Rolly Romero and former lightweight and super lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez clash on August 22 in Las Vegas on DAZN on Prime Video, in a high-stakes showdown between two of boxing’s most explosive and outspoken talents.
"With today's announcement, DAZN is really picking it up a notch," Tom Brown, the head of TGB Promotions said at Thursday's press conference to announce the deal. "This relationship with PBC is going to be something special."
DAZN and PBC will deliver a consistent schedule of major fight nights through your subscription, kicking off with non-PPV events on September 19 and October 10, alongside pay-per-view events exclusively on DAZN on Prime, combining global distribution with elite talent.
The agreement is a major step in DAZN’s continued investment in boxing and further strengthens a schedule that already delivers more premium fight nights than any other platform. PBC joins an unrivalled roster of boxing entities on DAZN, alongside Matchroom Boxing, Golden Boy Promotions, Top Rank, Queensberry, Boxxer, Salita Promotions, MF Pro and now TGB Promotions.
The DAZN and PBC deal opens the door for more megafights to take place, with a lower chance of fighters dodging bouts for one reason or another.
PBC’s deep stable of world-class fighters will feature prominently on DAZN, including some of the biggest names in the sport such as David Benavidez, Errol Spence Jr., Sebastian Fundora, Isaac ‘Pitbull’ Cruz, the Charlo brothers, Tim Tszyu, Jaime Munguia, Mario Barrios, Brandon Figueroa, Lamont Roach and Erislandy Lara, as well as an exciting new generation of champions and contenders, including Gary Antuanne Russell and Jesus Ramos Jr.
