Salt Papi landed the best shot of his short career as his well-timed left hand found the target of Josh Brueckner’s chin to end their meeting.
The Tik-Tok sensation was in superb form from the moment he walked through the curtain, and he didn’t stop entertaining fans once the first bell went.
Fighting relaxed from his southpaw stance, the Filipino star was in control throughout as Brueckner failed to get to grips with his opponent’s unorthodox style.
Brueckner tried several times to force the fight, but Papi wouldn’t be drawn into a fight as he preferred to fight his own style.
At the start of round two, Papi landed a brilliant left hand that dropped Brueckner and there was no way the American could beat the count.
