Promoter names the 'obvious' next opponent for Jermall Charlo

Promoter Stephen Espinoza believes that a fight between Jermall Charlo and Caleb Plant is the “obvious” clash to make.
Charlo ended a long period of inactivity after he came back to the ring in late 2023, defeating Jose Benavidez Jr.
However, he is yet to fight this year, and with a simmering rivalry against Plant after the latter slapped him during an argument last year, there is clearly bad blood that could be used to sell a fight.
Speaking to BoxingScene about Charlo vs. Plant, he stated: “That’s one of the obvious ones. There’s certainly no marketing needed for that one. Those guys have already set it up.”
