For Romero, this fight marks the end of a long stretch of inactivity. His last outing came in May last year when he beat Ryan Garcia in the biggest win of his career.Â
Lopez on the other hand arrives in Las Vegas off the back of a defeat to Shakur Stevenson in January.Â
It was an underwhelming performance at Madison Square Garden, and 'The Takeover' will look to silence his critics by becoming a three-weight world champion.Â
If you believe the bookmakers, then Teofimo Lopez Jr. is headed for three-weight champion status - and that would be the smart money.
But there are questions over just how th star will have bounced back from that loss to Shakur Stevenson too, having suffered a big loss.
Rolly Romero has alrady turned over Ryan Garcia as the underdog. This one is tougher to call than you may think - but Lopez just has the edge.
