Rolly Romero vs. Teofimo Lopez undercard: Who is on the fight card for Las Vegas world title fight?

Broadcast live on DAZN PPV, Ultimate Tier and Prime Video, Rolando 'Rolly' Romero will defend his WBA welterweight title against two-weight world champion Teofimo Lopez in Las Vegas. 

This contest pits two friends against each other, but expect that friendship to vanish come fight night at the T-Mobile Arena.

Romero vs. Lopez fight date, start time 

Romero's fight with Lopez will take place on Saturday, August 22, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. 

DAZN and Prime Video's PPV broadcast will begin at 8pm ET / 5pm PT with Romero and Lopez set to make their ringwalks 11pm ET / 8pm PT. These timings are subject to change.

Who are the big names on the Romero vs. Lopez undercard? 

The co-main event on Saturday night will feature an exciting talent at middleweight with Yoenli Hernandez facing the veteran Francisco Daniel Veron. 

Hernandez, who is ranked number one with the WBA and WBO, and number two by the WBC, is 10-0 (9 KOs) and is fast gaining a reputation for being a dangerous operator. 

His opponent Veron also enters this contest in a good run of form with a three-fight winning streak under his belt, his most recent victory coming in April against Raul Garcia. 

There is also an interim world title fight with Victor Santillan defending his WBA super bantamweight belt for the first time against Gary Antonio Russell. 

Santillan won the belt in February when he stopped Noel Reyes Cepeda in three rounds, whilst Russell, who comes from one of boxing's renowned fighting families, is hoping to win his first major title at super bantamweight.
