One of boxing's rising stars makes his 2026 debut on Saturday when welterweight Tiger Johnson meets Christopher Guerrero on the main card of the inaugural series, "The Fight" which can be seen worldwide live on DAZN and on TNT Sports in the United States.
In his last time out back in November, Johnson (17-0, 8 KOs) stopped Nicklaus Flaz in the fourth round. The bout was supposed to signify Johnson's toughest test. For the 27-year-old, he didn't see it that way.
Johnson's tired of people overlooking him and is ready to put on a show against the undefeated Guerrero (16-0, 9 KOs) on the biggest stage he's competed on to date.
"They said it (Flaz) was a 50-50 fight," Johnson exclaimed at Thursday's press conference to DAZN's Chris Mannix. "I told you all what I was going to do to him. I told Paulie (Malignaggi) and Chris Algieri I was going to knock him out.
"Everybody was sleeping on me. I had to sleep him to show everybody to stop sleeping on me."
