What super-fights await Tszyu after sturdy Spence triumph?

Tim Tszyu is riding high among the middleweight division once more after a marquee win sent Errol Spence Jr. into retirement.
The Australian overcame 'The Truth' at Sydney's Afterpay Arena last weekend to prove he still belongs among the leading lights.
One year on from his WBC light-middleweight title loss to Sebastian Fundora, the veteran star has the world at his feet again.
Tszyu does not intend to sit still either, with hopes that he can target bigger names for further blockbuster nights now truly alive.

But just what form may those bouts take? And after success one division below, is there a path to two-weight champion status?
DAZN News considers what could come next for Tszyu, as he eyes a new career chapter across the rest of 2026 and beyond.
What is Tszyu's record thus far?
Victory over Spence - who announced his retirement in the ring following defeat - takes him to a 28-3 professional record thus far.
Through the end of 2023, the star was unbeaten too, having most recently turned over Brian Mendoza to defend his WBC crown.
It came unstuck against Fundora however, losing a narrow split decision in a 2024 unification encounter overseas in Las Vegas.
Matters worsened when Bakhram Murtazaliev handed him a third-round TKO defeat too, before he lost his rematch to Fundora.
Since then however, Tszyu has rebuild with a steady run of decision victories - and defeating Spence is the icing on the cake too.
Who could Tszyu target next?
With promoters No Limit Boxing rarely shy when it comes to chasing the big bouts, Tszyu will undoubtedly be shopped around.
The star is currently unranked by the four major governing bodies at middleweight, but that will likely change soon enough for him.

Theoretically, if the veteran is chasing further glory, he will bid to target one of the world champions who currently rule the roost.
That includes WBA champion Erislandy Lara, WBC kingpin Carlos Adames and the freshly promoted WBO man Denzel Bentley.
The IBF strap meanwhile sits vacant, though it is unlikely Tszyu would find himself rewarded with a clear shot and chance then.
Who else could Tszyu face off with?
Of course, plenty of starry names sit in action across the middleweight division if Tszyu decides to seek another major payday too.
Two non-title shouts would be America's Shane Mosley Jr. or Britain's Chris Eubank Jr., two reliable repeat veteran contenders.
One intriguing option too could be a domestic clash against the ranked contender Michael Zerafa, a fellow Australian fighter.
The latter has not been out since facing Tszyu's brother Nikita in January, in a bout ruled as a technical draw after three rounds.
Whatever happens, victory over Spence has punched Tszyu's ticket to the future. Now, he will hope to cash in on the return journey.
