Tyson Fury insists he cannot wait to do a “demolition job” on Anthony Joshua as his first week of training in Miami draws to a close.
With the dispute over where their money-spinning bout will take place rumbling on, the ‘Gypsy King’ is in the United States to prepare for the domestic dust-up.
Despite Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn maintaining his man wants to stick to the contract he signed to fight in the UK, New York’s iconic Madison Square Garden appears set to host the showdown on November 20.
And Fury’s location would suggest the Big Apple is in pole position to win the race to stage the blockbuster event.
“It’s been a very good week so far,” Fury said on Instagram. “I’ve had a very, very, very good first week. I’ve trained twice a day and smashed it.
“Plenty of water, nutrition on point… everything’s going absolutely fantastic. Last day today and I’ve done my first week.
“One week down, 12 to go. I can't wait to do a demolition job on this f—king piece of s—t bum dosser. Get up!”
While Hearn has dug his heels in about the fight taking place on British soil, Fury’s long-term promoter Frank Warren believes it will ultimately end up wherever powerbroker Turki Alalshikh and broadcaster Netflix want it to be.
Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: "I think because of the amount of money involved, I hope I'm wrong, but I think it will go on in America.
"Would I like to see it at Wembley? Would all the fans like to see it at Wembley? Of course they would.
"But they are in the hands of another broadcaster who wants the fight in America."
