DAZN Exclusive - Hearn reveals the only two ways Fury vs. Joshua fight can happen

Since chaos erupted surrounding the contract a couple of weeks ago, it has fallen silent when it comes to updates about the negotiations. 

However, focus is once again on this all-British clash after Fury's interview with Gareth A. Davies on Tuesday where he claimed a date and venue had been set.

While Hearn is in Dublin promoting the final fight of Katie Taylor's historic career, it was inevitable he would be asked about the situation surrounding Fury vs. Joshua. 

A lot of the disagreements have surrounded the fight location with Joshua's deal stating that it should take place in the UK, while Fury's contract allows flexibility with the location. 

As a result, New York's Madison Square Garden is the favourite to host this Battle of Britain. Hearn and Joshua are happy for this to be the case, but if it is to become a reality, they have requested certain changes to be made to the contract.

Speaking to DAZN News, Hearn revealed that there are two options when it comes to making Fury vs. Joshua a done deal. 

"They can sign the new contract with the changes that have been made, none of them are unreasonable," Hearn said. 

"If they want to bring it into the public domain, they can do it because there is nothing that we’ve asked which is remotely controversial.

"Or do what we would prefer, which is what we always prefer, and that is stick to your word with the contract we’ve signed, and stage the fight in the UK."

With November 20 the suggested date, both camps need to find common ground quickly with this proposed date just over two months away.
