Mariusz Wach is over 26lbs heavier than former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury after the pair weighed in ahead of their fight on Friday.Â
Fury and Wach will clash in Thailand, and it's a contest labelled as a warm-up for the former before facing Anthony Joshua later this year. Â
Hitting the scales in Pattaya, Fury registered 265lbs, whilst Wach was 291.4lbs, 26.4lbs heavier than 'The Gypsy King'.Â
Reacting to the numbers on the scales, Fury revealed it was the first time he has faced someone heavier than him, whilst also poking fun at his own physique.Â
"I’ve never faced a man who’s heavier than me, he’s nearly two and a half stone heavier than me," Fury said.Â
"I'm usually the f—g fat c—t."
Fury is expected to beat Wach on Friday night, and there was hope that after the final bell, he will make the trip to Jeddah for Joshua's clash with Kristian Prenga, exclusively live on DAZN PPV and Ultimate Tier, and officially kick-off the build-up to their long-awaited grudge match.
Fight fans, however, are likely to be disappointed after Fury revealed he would instead be returning home following his fight with Wach.
Watch Anthony Joshua versus Kristian Prenga on Saturday, July 25, as part of a huge 24 hours of boxing on DAZN PPV.Â
