Fury vs. Joshua: Pundit blasts AJ's achievements when making prediction

This came shortly after Netflix released a trailer claiming the fight is 'Coming Soon', and once more, the British clash is the topic of conversation in the UK. 

Controversial talkSPORT pundit Simon Jordan, who has become a major voice in boxing, has made his prediction for the heavyweight fight whilst also giving some not so kind words about Joshua and what he has achieved during his career so far. 

Jordan makes Fury vs. Joshua prediction 

Jordan is never afraid to speak his mind on air, and when asked by Jim White to give his prediction, Jordan stuck with the man who he has always picked to triumph. 

"I’ve always thought Tyson Fury would win it," Jordan said. 

Jordan then went on to compare the careers of Fury and Joshua. 

Whilst Jordan did commend Joshua for being a better British role model compared to Fury, he did claim that 'AJ' and his achievements have been "overamplified", claiming that his route to the top has been an easier one.

"I think Anthony Joshua is far more of a statesman than Fury will be in this life or the next," Jordan continued. 

"I’ve always felt that he’s been given massive plaudits for being such a wonderful advocate for British boxing because he was a poster boy for success after the 2012 Olympics. 

"But I think his achievements have been massively overamplified by the opponents he’s beaten.

"He was beaten by Ruiz on his American debut, he came back and avenged that defeat. He beat Klitschko in that stellar fight, but Klitschko was 40-odd years of age when he beat him. 

"Fury for me took the more dangerous route with Wilder, technically Wilder is nowhere near Fury’s level."

When it comes to details for Fury-Joshua, the rumours are aplenty with a date in November being the frontrunner along with New York's Madison Square Garden the preferred venue.
