A prizefighter with few in his league, Fury will be expected to use this test as a tune-up for a potential Anthony Joshua super-bout in 2026.

But it is also needed to shake off a losing run, after 'The Gypsy King' suffered his only two defeats in a gripping 2024 duology with Usyk.

Before that, Fury had almost come unstuck against Francis Ngannou by split-decision, but he did also stop Derek Chisora and Dillian Whyte.

Arslanbek Makhmudov (21-2)

One year younger than Fury, but with an identical three-two record across his past five fights, Makhmudov is bidding to spring a major upset.

A 2023 loss to Agit Kabayel and 2024 reverse against Guido Vianello were followed by knockouts over Miljan Rovcanin and Ricardo Brown.

In his most recent outing, the 'Lion' took a wide decision against British journeyman Dave Allen, but was unable to secure the stoppage win.
