The duo met in Nov. 2020 when Tijuana native Moreno earned a first-round TKO against his American counterpart. Now both fighters are in the UFC flyweight title picture, with Moreno having lost the belt to Alexandre Pantoja in July 2023 and Royval failing to capture the title from Pantoja five months later.
