The NASCAR Euro Series returns this weekend as the 2026 championship heads to Czechia.
After a summer break, Europe's NASCAR stars head to Autodrom Most for the NASCAR GP Czech Republic on August 29-30, the final event of the regular season before the double-points playoffs begin.
Reigning champion Vittorio Ghirelli arrives as the man to beat in V8GP, but with the most important part of the season still to come, there is plenty at stake across two days of racing.

Vittorio Ghirelli leads title fight into Czech Republic
Ghirelli has picked up where he left off in 2026.
The Italian has won the last two V8GP championships and arrives at Most with a 32-point advantage at the top of the standings after the opening six races of the season.
Ghirelli claimed his third victory of the campaign at Brands Hatch before following it with fourth place in Round 6, leaving Americans Jordan O'Brien and Garrett Lowe as his closest challengers.
That makes this weekend particularly important.
Most represents the final regular-season event before the NASCAR Euro Series heads to Italy and Belgium for its double-points playoffs, meaning Ghirelli has another opportunity to strengthen his position before the title battle intensifies.
But the championship leader is far from the only driver worth watching.
Paul Jouffreau won the most recent V8GP race at Brands Hatch, while Gianmarco Ercoli, Thomas Krasonis and home favourite Martin Doubek are among the other names looking to challenge at the front.
NASCAR Euro Series returns to Autodrom Most
Autodrom Most offers a very different form of NASCAR racing to the high-speed ovals synonymous with the sport in the United States.
The 4.212km road course features 21 corners, combining fast sections with slower and more technical sequences that place very different demands on the drivers.
The NASCAR Euro Series first visited the Czech circuit in 2019, with the event producing everything from wet-weather races to breakthrough victories in the years since.
Doubek will be one driver hoping to take advantage of racing on home soil. The Czech has previously won twice at Most and will once again have the support of his home crowd as the series returns.
Four races will take place across the weekend, with V8GP and OPEN both competing on Saturday and Sunday.

Track action begins with practice on Friday before qualifying and the first races take place on Saturday.
The second OPEN and V8GP races then complete the weekend on Sunday.
