The 2025-26 Premier League season is nearing its end, which means it's a good time to take a look back at the entire campaign and acknowledge the best of the year that's been in the English top flight.
With another thrilling campaign almost in the books, DAZN News is looking back over the season and handing out our own awards in a selection of the traditional end-of-season categories.
We've already selected our top young player and manager of the campaign, and now we'll choose 11 names for the Premier League's team of the season.
Goalkeeper: David Raya (Arsenal)
The Gunners' league-best defence starts with the Spaniard, who has been outstanding throughout the campaign.
Right back: Dominik Szoboszlai (Liverpool)
A rare bright light for the Reds in an otherwise forgettable season, Szoboszlai has provided moments of brilliance from a position that may not even be his best.
Centre back: William Saliba (Arsenal)
There's an argument to be made that Saliba is the best central defender in the world right now, and his presence at the back has been invaluable for Arsenal.
Centre back: Marc Guehi (Manchester City)
Guehi split his season between Crystal Palace and Man City, joining the latter during the January transfer window and immediately providing needed steadiness and dependability to Pep Guardiola's side.
Left back: Nico O'Reilly (Manchester City)
The breakout player of 2025-26 in the Premier League, O'Reilly has been a revelation at left back.
Right midfielder: Antoine Semenyo (Manchester City)
Like Guehi, Semenyo's campaign was split between Man City and another club (Bournemouth). The Ghana international has been terrifying opposing defences all year, sitting third in the Golden Boot race as a wide player.
Central midfielder: Declan Rice (Arsenal)
Arsenal's metronome is a massive reason why the Gunners have one hand on the Premier League title. Rice is indispensable to Mikel Arteta's side.
Central midfielder: Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United)
The Man United captain continues to produce at an extremely high level, and now the team may have finally risen to meet his lofty standards.
Left midfielder: Jeremy Doku (Manchester City)
Doku may be the trickiest player in the Premier League, and his silky skills on the left have opened up space for his teammates to attack all season long.
Forward: Igor Thiago (Brentford)
The Brazilian's first full season in England could not have gone any better, as he sits second in the Golden Boot race and has played his way onto Carlo Ancelotti's Seleção in the process.
Forward: Erling Haaland (Manchester City)
Yet another season with the big Norwegian leading the scoring charts. While Haaland has battled with inconsistency at times, the overall picture still shows the 25-year-old as the best goal scorer in the Premier League.
