The French are coming off a 3-1 victory over a spirited Senegal side in their opener, with Kylian Mbappé's second-half brace leading the way. Les Bleus had to grow into that game after a sluggish start, but their final 45 minutes showed the exhilarating, free-flowing football that has become synonymous with this generation of the team, and they'll look to continue that against a less-fancied opponent.

As for the Iraqis, their first match at the World Cup was a forgettable on as they were dominated 4-1 by Norway. Iraq had no answer for Erling Haaland, let alone the rest of the Norwegian side, and they must attempt to regroup against an even tougher side or face elimination from the tournament.
